Now in its fifth edition\, this race has firmly established itself as one of the most scenic and welcoming half marathons in the region — a perfect blend of competitive spirit\, stunning landscape\, and small-town warmth. \nThe Course – Medina de las Torres Half Marathon\nThe 21.097 km route begins and ends in the Plaza de España\, right alongside the town hall\, giving the event a wonderfully local\, community-rooted feel. Roughly 85% of the course winds through trails and dirt paths in excellent condition\, with only 15% on tarmac — making it a genuine mixed-terrain challenge that rewards runners who relish variety underfoot. The total elevation puts you through a real workout without overwhelming\, and the surrounding countryside of Badajoz province provides a backdrop that is hard to beat.
