The Course

21.0975km awaits you at the Mitja Marató Barcelona by Brooks! 🇪🇸 But this isn’t just any 21km 😜. It’s 21km of pure joy through the beautiful city of Barcelona on a fast, flat course 📏—perfect for chasing personal bests 🚀.

Starting (and finishing) in front of the magnificent Parc de la Ciutadella, you’ll set off to discover the city 🏙️ and its most stunning historical monuments: the Christopher Columbus Monument, Plaça d’Espanya, and the iconic Arc de Triomf 😍. You’ll pass by Plaça de Catalunya and the breathtaking Sagrada Família, running along Barcelona’s grandest avenues: Avenida del Paralelo, Avenida del Litoral, and Avenida Diagonal. Your final kilometres will be alongside the Mediterranean Sea, with supporters 📣 and volunteers arriving in their thousands to cheer you on!

After the effort comes the reward 😌. Swimming, cocktails, and tapas await you! Vamos! 🏃‍♀️

Getting There

The best way to reach the start line is by public transport, particularly Line 1, alighting at Arc de Triomf station.

Refreshment Stations: Positioned every 5km, stocked with fruit and energy drinks
Entertainment: More than 24 entertainment zones along the route creating a lively, energetic atmosphere!

• Electrostimulation treatment (advance booking required at the event village)

Weather

In February, expect cool and sunny weather in Barcelona. There’s minimal chance of rain or wind—the sun will likely be your companion throughout the route. Dress accordingly and enjoy the Spanish climate!

Accessibility & Inclusion

Visually Impaired Runners: Register online and start from the first wave. Send a copy of your disability certificate to promocioesportiva2@bcn.cat after registration for classification and awards. Guides must identify themselves at info@zurichmaratobarcelona.es with full details.

Charitable Running

Run for a cause that matters to you! The organisers offer the opportunity to support a charity through the migranodearena.org crowdfunding platform. Create and run a campaign on migranodearena.org, raising at least €500, which will go to your chosen organisation.

Registration Changes

Unfortunately, registrations cannot be cancelled. However, you can transfer your entry to another person until 15th December by contacting the organisers. A €15 transfer fee applies.
