XIV Trail Ciudad de Palencia – Low Mountain Trail Race

Join us for the 14th edition of the Trail Ciudad de Palencia, a unique low mountain trail running event that embraces the philosophy: “Start when you want; arrive when you can.”

Event Details:

The race offers two challenging routes through the scenic terrain surrounding Palencia:

• 23km route: Departures between 09:30 and 10:30
• 12.5km route: Departures between 10:30 and 11:30

Start Location: Dársena del Canal de Palencia (Canal Basin)

Format: Individual time trial with flexible start times within the designated windows. Both races close at 13:45.

What’s Included:

• Electronic timing chip (sport-ident system with mandatory checkpoints)
• €20 deposit in cash for the timing chip – which will be given back on arrival (make sure its not lost or broken)
• Race number
• Accident insurance
• Refreshment stations throughout the course (water, isotonic drinks, and a finish line station with hot beverages, fruit, and nuts)
• Finisher’s gift
• Post-race showers

Entry Fees:

• Standard: €15
• Cadets (14-17 years): €9

Categories: Male and female divisions across five age groups: Cadet (14-17), Senior (18-34), Veteran A (35-44), Veteran B (45-54), and Veteran C (55+)

Prizes: Awards for overall winners and top three finishers in each category (minimum 7 participants required for full podium)

Important Notes:

• €20 chip deposit required at race number collection (refunded upon chip return)
• Registration closes Wednesday, 21st January 2026 at 23:59
• Race number collection from 08:30 on race day
