About the Event

Join us for the 41st edition of the Medio Maratón Popular de Medina del Campo, a celebrated running event organized with the sponsorship of the Municipal Sports Service of Medina del Campo. This race welcomes runners of all levels, whether federated athletes or recreational runners, for a day of sport and community in the historic Plaza Mayor.

Race Options

Half Marathon (21.097 km)

A challenging half marathon course starting and finishing in the picturesque Plaza Mayor. Runners will experience the beautiful streets of Medina del Campo with refreshment stations every 5 kilometers.

Cutoff Times:

  • Kilometer 10: 1 hour 11 minutes
  • Kilometer 15: 1 hour 46 minutes
  • Final cutoff: 2 hours 15 minutes (12:15 PM)

10K Villa de Las Ferias

A faster-paced 10-kilometer race sharing the same start and finish line, perfect for those seeking a shorter challenge or looking to set a personal best.

Participant Information

Eligibility: Open to all runners born in 2008 or earlier (18+ on race day)

Registration Fees:

  • Early Bird (October 25 – February 14): €16 Half Marathon / €12 10K
  • Late Registration (February 15-19): €20 Half Marathon / €16 10K

T-shirt Size Guarantee: Register before February 7 at 23:59 to guarantee your preferred t-shirt size.

Race Day Services

  • Bib Collection: Saturday, February 21 (5:00-8:00 PM) or Sunday morning (8:45-9:30 AM) at Plaza del Ayuntamiento
  • Gear Check: Available at Plaza Mayor
  • Medical Support: Ambulance and medical center on-site
  • Refreshments: Water stations every 5km, plus post-race refreshments
  • Showers: Available at Pabellón Municipal Pablo Cáceres and Pabellón Barrientos
  • Physiotherapy: Free post-race physiotherapy services at the finish area

Age Categories

From Sub-20 (born 2007-2008) through Master G (65+), with divisions including Senior, and Masters A through G categories for both distances.

Important Notes

  • Bib numbers are personal and non-transferable
  • 10K runners must wear two identical bibs (chest and back)
  • Timing chip must be visible at all times
  • All participants must complete the full course
  • Insurance coverage included for non-federated runners
