Medias Maratones España is free to use, with no paywall and no sign-up. To pay for hosting, research and the time it takes to keep 190+ race listings up to date, we work with a small number of affiliate partners. This page explains what that means for you.

An affiliate link is a link or widget that tells a partner you came from our website. If you then book or subscribe, the partner may pay us a commission. You never pay more because you used our link, and sometimes you get a discount or free trial you wouldn’t get otherwise.

Our partners

Stay22: accommodation maps

Every race page has a map of hotels and apartments around the race, powered by Stay22. The listings come from booking sites such as Booking.com and Expedia. If you book a stay through the map, we may earn a commission from Stay22. Prices, availability, cancellation terms and the booking itself are handled entirely by the booking site you choose.

Runna: personalised running plans

We show banners for Runna, a training app with plans for 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon. Our link gives you 2 weeks free. If you subscribe after the trial, we may receive a referral reward. The subscription, its price and its cancellation are managed by Runna under their own terms.

The banners are plain images hosted on our own site: nothing is loaded from Runna and no cookies are set until you click.

How we mark advertising

Affiliate content is labelled “Advertising · affiliate link(s)” next to the banner or map, as required by the Spanish Information Society Services Act (LSSI, art. 20). Affiliate links use rel="sponsored" so search engines know they are paid links.

Our editorial independence

  • Commissions never decide which races we list, how we describe them or the order they appear in.
  • Race dates, courses and time limits come from official sources, not from partners.
  • Our calculators and tools are free and don’t depend on any partner.
  • We only promote products we think are genuinely useful for runners travelling to a race in Spain.
