If you want the fastest possible half marathon course, this is it. The Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso has produced world-record performances and is one of the flattest big-city courses anywhere. The 2026 edition is on Sunday 25 October 2026 at 8:25.
Course
Start and finish are on Avinguda dels Tarongers, by the university campus. The route is almost flat and has few tight corners. It passes landmarks such as the Torres de Quart and Serranos, the Marqués de Dos Aguas palace and the Museo de Bellas Artes, with aid stations at about km 5, 10, 15 and 18, plus the finish.
Good to know
- Time limit: 2 hours 45 minutes.
- Places: 25,000, allocated through a ballot to avoid registration crashes.
- Bib collection: only in person at the Runners’ Fair at Feria Valencia, Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, 9:00–21:00.
- Technical shirt and finisher medal.
- For 2027 we expect a similar late-October date. We’ll confirm once it’s announced.
