- Sunday 8 November 2026
- 61st edition of a Basque classic
- 20 km point-to-point, hilly
- One of Spain’s most popular road races
The Behobia–San Sebastián isn’t quite a half marathon (it’s 20 km), but no list of Spanish autumn road races is complete without it. The 61st edition is on Sunday 8 November 2026.
Course
The race starts at Behobia, on the French border in Irún, and runs point-to-point to San Sebastián. It passes through Irún, Lezo, Errenteria and Pasaia, climbs Gaintxurizketa and Miracruz, and finishes on the Boulevard. Thousands of spectators line the route. It’s tougher than it looks: save something for the climbs.
