Named after the spectacular granite boulders of the nearby Los Barruecos natural monument, this half marathon is considered the most popular race in Cáceres province. It is organised by CA Malpartida Los Barruecos and the town council.
Course
The race hub is Plaza de la Nora. Runners complete two laps of the circuit, with aid at km 5, 10 and 15, plus the finish. A 10.5 km option runs alongside, and around 800 people take part across both distances.

- Typical date: mid-January (third Sunday in 2026). The 2027 date has not been announced yet.
- Time limit: 2 hours 30 minutes.
