La Mitja, the Mitja Marató Internacional de Granollers, Les Franqueses i La Garriga, is one of Catalonia’s best-loved half marathons. The 41st edition is confirmed for Sunday 24 January 2027 at 9:30.
Course
The race starts on Carrer Esteve Terradas (corner of Carrer Francesc Serra) and finishes on Carrer de Francesc Macià in Granollers, outside the sports hall. The certified course links the three Vallès Oriental towns in the race’s name. Aid stations are at km 5, 10 and 15, plus the finish.
Good to know
- Entries: open until 17 January 2027 or until 8,000 people have entered across all distances. The cheapest price bands have already sold out.
- A 10K and El Quart are held on the same morning.
- Organised by Associació Esportiva La Mitja.
- Granollers is about 30 minutes from Barcelona on the R2 Nord and R3 commuter lines.
