Mérida Night Half Marathon 2027

Running past 2,000-year-old Roman monuments as the sun goes down is special. The Mérida Half Marathon is held in the evening to make the most of the city’s floodlit heritage. The 2027 edition is confirmed for Saturday 10 April 2027 at 19:00.
Course
Start and finish are on Paseo de Roma. The route runs through the main streets of Extremadura’s capital and past its UNESCO-listed sites: the Roman bridge, the circus, the Los Milagros aqueduct, the Roman theatre, the Temple of Diana and the Arch of Trajan. It’s a mostly flat city route, timed by the Extremadura Athletics Federation.

- Aid stations: km 5, 10, 15 and 19, plus the finish.
- Time limit: 2 hours 30 minutes.
- Places: about 2,500.
- Showers at the Guadiana sports hall.
- Finisher medal and a runner’s bag with a technical shirt.
