Running the length of Formentera is special, and it’s popular. The Formentera Half Marathon starts at the Far de la Mola lighthouse on the island’s eastern cliffs and finishes on the Passeig de la Marina in La Savina. The 2027 edition is confirmed for Saturday 15 May 2027, with an 8 km option.
Entries by ballot
Demand is high, so bibs are allocated through a pre-registration and draw, with a limit of about 2,000 participants. Watch the official site for the pre-registration window.
Course and services
- Aid stations: km 4, 9, 12 and 17, plus the finish.
- Time limit: 2 hours 45 minutes.
- Bag drop, changing rooms, showers and physio available.
- A technical shirt for every entrant and a finisher medal.
The first kilometres drop off La Mola plateau, then the course runs mostly flat along the island. Getting there means a ferry from Ibiza, so book early.
