- Asphalt course through Millanes de la Mata
- Small field: around 500 places across the half and the 10K
- Medal, shirt and runner's bag for everyone
The Medio Maratón de Navalmoral de la Mata is a small, friendly race in the Campo Arañuelo, in the north of Cáceres province. The 16th edition is on Sunday 13 December 2026, starting at 11:00 from the Pabellón Antonio Jara. It’s run in memory of Valeriano Lombardía, and organised by Club Deportivo Navalmaratón, with the city councils of Navalmoral and Millanes de la Mata.
Course and field
The 21.097 km route is on asphalt, in town and between towns, with a difficulty the regulations rate as medium-low. It leaves Navalmoral and includes the traditional pass through Millanes de la Mata before returning to the sports hall. A 10K, shorter and entirely through the town’s streets, starts together with the half.
This is not a big-city event. The regulations cap entries at 500 runners across both races, so the roads stay quiet and the finish area is relaxed. In 2023 the entry fee was €18, with a late rate of €22 if places remained, and recent editions have kept to that range of €18 to €22.
