The Media Maratón de La Rioja is the spring half marathon of Logroño and one of the longest-running races in the region. The 34th edition was run on Sunday 31 May 2026 at 10:00. It is organised by Diario La Rioja, the regional newspaper, with technical support from Club de Atletismo Beronia-Senda. The 2027 date hasn’t been announced, so the date on our calendar is only an estimate based on the late-May slot.
Course and distances
The 21.097 km race is run over an urban circuit in Logroño. In 2026 it started at the junction of Calle Duques de Nájera and Calle Chile and finished on Calle Muro de la Mata. An 11K option runs the same morning for those who prefer a shorter distance.
What to check for 2027
- Date: not yet announced; the 2026 race was the last Sunday of May.
- Entry: online through the Kirolprobak platform; in 2026 the window was 13 March to 30 May.
- Time limit, price and cap: we couldn’t find these in the sources we checked, so confirm them in the regulations.
