In the farming plain of northern Mallorca, Sa Pobla organises a low-key winter half marathon that’s popular with local clubs and with runners training on the island in winter.
Course
Start and finish are at the municipal sports centre. The route is a circular asphalt loop on flat terrain, officiated by the Balearic Athletics Federation. Aid stations are at about km 5, 9, 13 and 17, plus the finish area.
Good to know
- Typical date: first Sunday of February. The 2027 date has not been announced yet.
- Time limit: 2 hours 30 minutes.
- Trophies for the top three men and women in each category.
- Sa Pobla is on the Palma–Sa Pobla train line, so you can get there without a car.
