Torremolinos Half Marathon 2027
Not announced yet. Estimated from the usual date pattern; check the official site before booking travel.
- One of the oldest races in Málaga province
- Popular with international runners wintering on the coast
- Aid roughly every 5 km
- 2 h 30 min time limit
Torremolinos has hosted a half marathon for well over three decades, which makes it one of the longest-running road races on the Costa del Sol. It is held in early February, when the coast is mild and dry while much of Europe is still in winter, so a good share of the roughly 1,400 runners come from abroad.
Course and format
The race starts on Calle de la Cruz in the town centre and follows an urban circuit through Torremolinos. Aid stations are placed roughly every 5 km, and the time limit is 2 hours 30 minutes. The race is certified by the Andalusian Athletics Federation, so your time counts for rankings.
Good to know
- Typical date: first Sunday of February. The 2027 date has not been announced yet.
- Trophies go to the top three men and women in each age category.
- Torremolinos is 15 minutes from Málaga airport by train (C1 line), which makes it an easy race weekend.
