The Santander Half Marathon follows the seafront of the Cantabrian capital around its bay. The last edition was run on Sunday 10 May 2026 at 10:00. The 2027 date has not been confirmed yet and is expected in May again.
Course
Start and finish are on the Paseo de Pereda, next to the Pereda gardens and the Centro Botín. The flat route links the city’s best-known waterfront landmarks.
Good to know
- Time limit: 2 hours 15 minutes from the official start. That is one of the tightest in Spain, about 6:24/km, so it is not a race for a first half marathon.
- Field: capped at 1,500 bibs.
- Entries usually open in early March.
