There’s a reason this race is called “La Rompepiernas”: the leg-breaker. The half marathon from Belmez to Espiel in the Guadiato valley of Córdoba province is almost all rolling road, and the climbs and descents don’t stop.
Course
The start is in Plaza del Maestro in Belmez and the finish on the main promenade in Espiel. Most of the route follows the N-432 road, closed for the race. Aid stations are at about km 5, 10, 15 and 18, plus the finish, with medical support along the way.

- Typical date: a Saturday in late March. The 2027 date has not been announced yet.
- Around 300 runners. It is part of the Córdoba provincial popular-race circuit.
- The entry pack has traditionally included a windproof jacket and a gym sack.
