Just over the Collserola hills from Barcelona, Sant Cugat del Vallès hosts a well-established winter half marathon with nearly 40 editions behind it, advertised locally in Catalan as the Mitja Marató de Sant Cugat. It is run by RPM Sports with the town council.
Course
The race starts on Avinguda Pla del Vinyet and finishes in Plaça de la Vila, next to the town hall and close to the monastery. The route is certified by the Catalan Athletics Federation and passes the town’s main landmarks. Aid stations are at km 5, 10 and 15, plus the finish.

- Time limit: 2 hours 45 minutes.
- Field: about 3,000 bibs.
- Easy to reach from Barcelona on the FGC trains (S1/S2).
