The Piedra Roja Trail (red stone) takes its name from the red sandstone around Rodenas, a tiny village in the Sierra de Albarracín area of Teruel, among pine forests and rock formations.
The race
The main distance is 21 km, +874 m of climbing. The 2026 edition is on Saturday 19 September 2026. Expect sandy tracks, rocky sections and cool early-autumn temperatures at altitude.
