The Plasencia Half Marathon is organised by the local club Atletas Populares de Plasencia and is a fixture of the Extremadura winter calendar. Plasencia, with its two cathedrals and medieval walls, is the gateway to the Jerte valley and the Monfragüe National Park.

The organisers haven’t published detailed course information, so treat this page as a date reminder and check the club website for the regulations when they appear. The race usually takes place on the first Sunday of February.
