The Ciudad de Granada Half Marathon is one of Andalusia’s longest-running halves and one of the few held in the evening. The 42nd edition took place on Saturday 25 April 2026 at 19:30. The 2027 date has not been announced yet and is expected in late April again.
Course
The race starts on Calle Poeta Manuel de Góngora and finishes on the esplanade of the Palacio de Congresos. The route runs through the city below the Albaicín quarter and the Alhambra hill, both UNESCO World Heritage sites. Granada sits at about 700 m, so an April evening is a comfortable time to race.

- Start time: 19:30 in recent editions.
- Entries: both the 21K and the 10K sold out in 2026, and so did the waiting list. Registration opens in February, so set a reminder.
- Bib collection is at the Palacio de Congresos the day before and on race afternoon.
