The Virgen del Reposo Half Marathon in Valverde del Camino is one of the oldest half marathons in Huelva province: 2026 is its 44th edition. It opens the autumn season in western Andalusia on Saturday 19 September 2026.
Valverde sits in the Andévalo area, between the Sierra de Aracena and the coast, and is known across Spain for its handmade leather boots. Late September can still be warm here, so expect heat if the start is not early.
