- Entry rises from €14 to €20 by race week
Few half marathons let you decide on the course how far you want to go. The Media Maratón Universitaria, branded ‘La Carrera para Todos’, does: its 47th edition is on Sunday 7 March 2027, starting at 9:30 at the Glorieta del Cardenal Cisneros on the Complutense University campus in Madrid. It finishes on the athletics track of the Complejo Sur.
One loop, three distances
The course is a flexible loop of about 7 km around the campus. You run it once for 7,353 m, twice for 14,188 m, or three times for the full 21,097 m, choosing at each loop entrance according to how you feel. That is why you don’t pick a distance when registering. The organiser’s pitch is that everyone runs together and nobody is left behind, and there is also a 1.5 km non-competitive walk or run.
