Getxo Half Marathon 2027

The Getxo Half Marathon (Getxoko Maratoi Erdia) is a young race — the fourth edition runs on Sunday 4 April 2027 — but it has quickly found a place in the Bizkaia calendar. It is organised by Club Atlético Getxo and certified by the Spanish athletics federation.

Course

The race starts at the Fadura sports centre and follows a completely flat route at sea level along the coast, past the town’s landmarks. The Bizkaia transporter bridge, the marina and the Las Arenas promenade are all close by.

Good to know

• Distances: 21.097 km, 10 km and 5 km.
• Bib collection: at Fadura on race morning from 8:00.
• The 2026 edition started at 9:00 and 2027 should be similar.
• Getxo is 20 minutes from central Bilbao on the metro.
