The Sitges Half Marathon (Mitja Marató de Sitges) is one of the first half marathons of the year in Catalonia. The 42nd edition was run on Sunday 11 January 2026 at 10:00. The 2027 date has not been announced yet and is expected in mid-January again.
Course
The half marathon runs two laps of a 10.5 km circuit. It starts on the Passeig Marítim, loops through the streets of Sitges and returns along the sea to finish on the Passeig de la Ribera, facing the beach and the Sant Bartomeu church.
Good to know
- 2026 start times: the quarter marathon (10.5 km) at 9:00 and the half marathon at 10:00.
- Free school races and inclusive races are held the day before.
- Organised by Sitges town council’s sports department.
- Sitges is about 40 minutes from Barcelona on the R2 Sud commuter line.
